Sweden’s Glossybox May 2018

Hi!

I finally have time to blog. In just over a week, I will be done with work for 7 months. I am longing for 7 months of freedom, and of course, all the travelling we will do! I really should have blogged about the May Glossybox 2 weeks ago, but I have been busy so you are getting it now.

Let’s get started on the May 2018’s Glossybox here in Sweden!

Just a reminder, Glossybox is is a website that allows you to subscribe to a new box every month which contains 5 beauty products. See my blog post from April if you want to know more about Glossybox!

So, what was in the box in May 2018?
My dreams came true and I did get a “fancier” box, just like the March 2018 box. I love anything to do with maps. I mean, at home, we have a nautical map lampshade, a fantasy Harry Potter map, and 3 little word maps from Ikea. To summarize, I love any pattern with a map on it! So, I was very happy with this month’s design.

1. Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliner
I have been wanting a fat eyeliner for a while but always felt that it was a want and not a need. Boy, was I wrong! This is awesome! So much easier to draw a cat eye with this eyeliner compared the liquid eyeliner I usually use. You can feel the pressure against your skin while drawing a cat eye, so you get a much more even and precise line. Buy this!

2. Pop Up Beauty Happiness Moist Mask
I love beauty masks! I cannot wait to try this one. It is one of those masks that make you look like Mason Verger from Hannibal. This mask promises to make your skin soft, smooth, and moisturized.

3. Spa to You Konjac Sponge
I have not tried this one either. I have never used a sponge on my face before so I haven’t really figured out how I will incorporate it into my daily routine. Apparently, this is the newest trend in Korean beauty. Once you use it, it needs to be replaced after 4-8 weeks. I have read the recommendations and it seems to be a fan favourite among Glossy Boxers, especially when used with product number 4, the Indy Beauty Cleansing Mousse.

4. Indy Beauty Rich Cleansing Mousse
First of all, this was a full sized product, which was a lovely surprise. There is a large lemon beside the bottle in the second photo so you can get an idea of the size. I love that the solution is pink and that the bottle has a pump that turns it instantly into a foam. The scent is very soft and the cleansing mousse is completely vegan, which I know is very important for some people. For me, this was definitely a product that I liked. It feels quite gentle on my sensitive skin, so I am happy!

5. Apicia Cream Blush
There was also a cream blush in the last box, so now I have come to the conclusion that I really like powder blush. I guess I just have not figured out when I should apply cream blush. Before my setting powder? I just think it feels weird to not put blush powder on top of my regular powder. I can say that the colour was really nice, a coral-pink shade. Definitely a better shade than the one in April’s box. The information packet said that I could also use it on my lips and eyelids, so maybe I will try it on my eyelids.

Overall impression?
Well, there it is. Now, I have tried Glossybox 3 times. I would actually like to continue subscribing since I think it is really cool to try new products. So, maybe once we are back from our long trip?

I hope everyone has a lovely week!

xx
