Sweden’s Glossybox April 2018

Hello there!

Well, I have had a really busy month. I have been on a road trip through France, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Perhaps something to blog about later? Let’s get started on the April 2018’s Glossybox here in Sweden!

Just a reminder, Glossybox is is a website that allows you to subscribe to a new box every month which contains 5 beauty products. See my blog post from last month if you want to know more about Glossybox!

So, what was in the box in April 2018?

This month, I received just a “regular box”. I was really hoping for a cute box again (like the Unicorn box). Oh well! Maybe next month?

1. Luxie Beauty Fan Brush 560
I really like having a different brush for every face product that I get, so I really liked that when they included the highlighter (read on!) that they also included a brush. This way, I don’t have to worry about mixing colours with one (of the million) brushes I already have. It is a bit thin but it seems to work fine. I do wish it came in the pink colour that is available on the website.

2. Beautaniq Beauty Blush Serum
This was my least favourite item in the box. I am a much larger fan of powder blush and the pigment was a bit too pink. I love pink, but even I thought that this was a bit strong. However, once I blended it into my cheeks, it was quite nice. I have quite oily skin (that happens to also be super dry, fun for me!) so this product probably won’t be one that I use that often.

3. Karl Lagerfeld & Modelco Baked Highlighter
Here is the product that I think matches perfectly with the brush above. It says highlighter in the product descriptions; however, the packaging for this product says “baked blush”. I think I would use it more as a highlighter though. It has a subtle shimmer that I think will be great for nights out. Will have to try it out to see if I can pull it off at work.

4. The Body Shop Lip Juicers
This lip gloss smelled so good! It adds a subtle hint of colour.

5. Guerlain Mon Guerlain Perfume
I have to say, I wish that this product came in a bigger size since it smells amazing! I am a huge fan of sweet smelling perfume and this just smelled amazing to me. I really wish that they sent this one in even one size up! 😉

6. Always Dailies Singles To Go
Who can say no to some free panty liners? This was a bonus product in this month’s box.

Overall impression?

I think this box was also an overall hit! The products came in quite nice colours for my skin tone and I am really happy with the highlighter, brush, and perfume. I mean, even if I can get one really good product in each box, it is worth it. Do you also get Glossybox? Let me know what products you like!
